Justice Mail Action 18th October

Dear Justice Mail Friends

The UK government spends public money pushing arms sales, often to authoritarian regimes and human rights abusers. In September it helped organise a massive weapons fair in London, inviting international buyers to shop for weapons – including countries the government itself identifies as having the most serious wide-ranging human rights concerns.

Use The Campaign Against the Arms Trade link below to ask your MP to speak out by signing EDM 503, a parliamentary petition against arms sales to authoritarian regimes.

Justice Mail Action 3 October 2013

Dear Justice Mail Friends

At the moment, if you lose your job, you will get your full rent paid for 13 weeks – vital breathing space to help you find a new job or move to a cheaper home, without getting into debt. But from October, the government will only pay a low standard rate regardless of your actual rent.

Using the Shelter link below email the Work and Pensions Secretary, Iain Duncan Smith and tell him that losing your job shouldn’t mean losing your home.
