Justice Mail Action 30th May 2016

Dear Justice Mail Friends,

The lack of information about where our clothes and shoes are made and who made them is a huge barrier to change. Information is power, but brands have it all and workers on the ground have very little. The workplaces and people in global supply chains must be made visible in order to hold companies to account for their actions.

Use the Labour Behind the Label’s link below to below to ask the following companies to release data:

Clarks, Base London, Asos, Boden, H&M, Inditex (Zara), Marks & Spencer, Monsoon, New Look, Next, Pentland, Primark, Tesco, Sainsburys, William Lamb

Justice Mail Action 13th May 2016

Dear Justice Mail Friends,

Your local authority should be able to make decisions on where it invests its money and on what it buys. That means saying no to investing pension funds in the arms trade or in firms complicit in Israel’s violations of Palestinian rights. In January the Justice Mail Action was to write to the Secretary of State for Local Government and Communities to protest against the government’s proposal to take that democratic choice away from local authorities.

Follow this up now by asking you MP to protect local democracy – use the War on Want’s link below.
