Dear Justice Mail friends

Hundreds of children have been hurt since the most recent protests in Gaza began on the 30th of March this year.

Reports say almost 8,000 people, including nearly 1,000 children, have been injured. Save the Children’s own research has found that at least 250 children have been shot with live ammunition.

Use the Save the Children Link below to ask Boris Johnson to take steps to help protect children in Gaza:

Dear Justice Mail friends

Every two years, the international weapons industry sets up shop in London at a huge arms fair, DSEI. The weapons sold here fuel the death, destruction and injustice perpetrated by militaries, police forces and at borders around the world.

Use the CAAT link below to sign their petition calling for this event to be shut down.

Justice Mail Action 7th May 2018

Dear Justice Mail Friends

Millions of people now work on precarious contracts. The government’s own review fails to tackle the key issue, that with precarious contracts, employers hold all the power, whilst the workers hold none, unable to claim even the most basic rights at work.

Use the War on Want link below to ask your MP persuade the government to guarantee basic rights at work for all workers.

Justice Mail Action April 12 2018

Dear Justice Mail friends

Every year the Home Office locks up nearly 30,000 people, including asylum seekers, children, elderly people, pregnant women and survivors of torture, trafficking and rape. They have no idea when they will be freed. No judge authorises their incarceration. The Home Office alone makes the call.

Use the link below to sign Liberty’s petition and tell the Home Secretary to put a time limit on immigration detention.

Justice Mail Action 28th March 2018

Dear Justice Mail Friends

Two-thirds of people forced from home are still in their own country. Seeking safety but unwilling or unable to leave, they are denied the official protection given to refugees. Many of the world’s displaced remain hidden or ignored. Christian Aid are calling on the UK Government to ensure no one is left behind in the UN negotiations on refugees and migration and to support better protection for all displaced people.

Use the Christian Aid link below to ask your MP to stand up for millions of people forced from their homes worldwide.
